THE ROOFTOP AT ONE HUNDRED SHOREDITCH

ACTIVATION OVERVIEW

The Rooftop at One Hundred Shoreditch opened its doors on 19 May 2022 as the ultimate destination rooftop bar and terrace. Inspired by the vibrant spirit of Palm Springs, the rooftop featured a striking pink colour scheme, lush succulents, cacti, and panoramic views from the outdoor terrace. The brief was to create a playful Californian escape right in the heart of East London.

OFFERING

Guests relaxed to the sounds of Latin dance music while the Rooftop bar team mixed up signature margaritas, served rosé, and cracked open Champagne. The food offering included a selection of snacks and small plates, perfect for sharing with friends. The menu brought together modern Californian cuisine with a retro Americana twist, featuring crowd-pleasers like tasty tacos, devilled eggs, and a delicious soft shell crab burger.

PRESS LAUNCH

To allow key press and media to experience the new terrace, we hosted an exclusive preview night on 17 May 2022 ahead of opening to the public. Press highlights include a reel on the Conde Nast Traveller instagram feed which went out to an audience of 1.9M and received 1,221 likes and 19 comments.

MARKETING PLAN

To build buzz and generate anticipation ahead of the launch, we executed a series of teaser posts on the One Hundred Shoreditch Instagram channel, which garnered excellent engagement. We also sent out a newsletter to the hotel’s database, which achieved the highest open rate of any previous newsletter sent. Additionally, we created bill inserts that were placed in the other bar and restaurant outlets across One Hundred Shoreditch, further amplifying awareness and excitement for the launch.
