SHERATON GRAND WARSAW REOPENING
THE BRIEF
The Sheraton Grand Warsaw was one of the first hotels in Europe to undergo a complete renovation in line with the new Sheraton brand transformation. To showcase the newly renovated hotel as an early adopter of the new public space concept, and reposition as the ultimate venue where local and international communities can work, meet and relax, we organised a a grand reopening party for 400 local media and guests.
THE EVENT
To allow guests to experience the redesigned spaces, we placed attractions at various points throughout the hotel, including in all bar and restaurant outlets, which was a great way to showcase the fantastic food and beverage offering. We also featured brand programming that engaged the local community and positioned the hotel as a place where people can come together, experience new things and share ideas.
BRAND ATTRACTIONS
INTERACTIVE WELCOME WALL
We created a digital multimedia timeline welcoming guests, showing the progression of the Sheraton Grand Warsaw, as well as bringing the brand history to life through interactive touchscreens paired with physical brand artefacts that guests could discover.
GLOBAL GATHERING GALLERY
Inspired by the Fotoplastikon picture gallery, a favoured hangout of Warsaw’s cultural aesthetes, we created a scenic map of the world with view finders in key Sheraton destinations across the globe to show the breadth and scale of Sheraton’s global reach.
COLLABORATION CONCERTO
Inspired by Chopin, we activated one of the redesigned suites with an interactive musical installation where attendees worked together to create harmonious sounds. The more participation and involvement there was, the richer the result, linking back to the Sheraton brand pillar of bringing people together.
SHERATON SQUARE
To position the new brand Coffee Bar Bar concept as a cornerstone of the food and beverage program, we bought in local partners to celebrate the opening night with a market-style extension, including a day to night offering of espresso martinis & local Warsaw delicacies.
INFLUENCER ACTIVITY
To capture content and help amplify the brand story, we hosted UK-based photographer, Steve Booker (@stevebooker), to experience the grand re-opening of the Sheraton Grand Warsaw. Steve documented the property, the celebration events, and the historic beauty of the city around it.
